The final Goodbye and the final Blog Post.

 Well this is it, I want to thank everyone for this awesome semester we had. Especially you Kevin the man that had very negative mindset but was one of the most smartest man to work with please have positive mindset this world needs more man like you!!! Besides Kevin I truly had a blast working with window software's and the discussions assignments Excluding excel that was exhausting. I can't wait to use these skills in the outside world. 

That said my experience in IS 101 was extraordinary. To amazing classmates with bright futures and to the most hard working, most caring professor I had ever had truly was an honor to be your student Mr Wu. And to you all classmates you guys were awesome having positive students ready to learn is amazing but its even more amazing when the professor is the main reason these students are smiling and engaging we really need more professors like Mr. Wu. 

What I gain is being a certified Word, Excel and PowerPoint specialist. That's it for the course honestly, the professor? sadness.. really gonna miss my professor. My classmates I hope they all have an amazing life these students were truly amazing but like I said Kevin was just something else, I'm gonna miss him asking so much absurd questions but his dedication I fully respect. Chae was extraordinary student  Josephine with her sunshine attitude especially challenging Kevin's questions or giving him advices. And lastly Lovelle with an amazing presentation about BoJack horseman tough subject these 3 stand out a lot for me. 

Here's the final topic, I'll be choosing advanced media chapter 6.8.2 this is something I enjoyed as I want to practice editing videos for things I get ideas for such as my Never-Ending Night Sky presentation. learning edits to videos and audio can be such a helpful way to add especially telling a story and the best part it wont show any of it being added its hidden. I never though PowerPoint had these options.

3rd Blog Post

Part 3 from me Woot woot  here's the topics I will discuss today, Phase II, chapter 5 and what's next to come...

 1. Holy moly microsoft excel.. what can I say it was extremely exhausting yet fun to learn, I actually use this at work and I gotta say it became so much easier now at work knowing the formulas (sort of) I was able to be very useful no extremely useful at work now. The fact I learn something that can help me in daily life is super cool. Enough said I honestly think I performed extremely well but my weaknesses was formulas there was so many to remember and during the exam it was the main reason I didn't get a hundred percent on the exam. But throughout the phase it went extremely well and i enjoyed every moment of it. now for A6 assignment it was an interesting one given though I am use to being so creative, I had to act professional which is very tough in my end given I have absolute no experience of doing professional projects I just make numbers for my company haha. It took sometime but i would be lying saying it was easy I had my professor help me out i even stayed after just to conquer and get it done due to having a time limit that day. In the end it was completed and the final result was very pleasing to see how professional done it was.

 2. 5.2.2... OMG when I say this helped a lot in at my job it helps alot!! I work in a company that uses excel alot!! And when I learned this it was super useful to manage my spreadsheets for each part of my job. I have numbers to write down, Data to put and many other things but I need to put a weekly report of all the data I collect and wrote down that current week its extremely frustrating when I had to constantly make new spreadsheets over and over again. OH did i mention we learned to put more data into a spreadsheet into another spreadsheet file !? OMG what a feature to learn ever since then i had improved my work and be more efficient with my data due to this lesson. 

 3. Its like what I said in my other paragraphs. Phase II will help me at work alot but it will also help me as a gamer building my setups haha since data can be automatically calculated base on numbers and information you put on excel. In my games they have numbers and analyzing which armor or stats can be somewhat annoying. But with excel this will make it fun especially testing new loadouts to see how much damage I can do. The fact I can finally figure out the numbers when it comes to stats saying it will 2.3% of damage IS A BLESSING holy moly that can be so annoying. But in all honestly I have been doing this in my games while using excel analyzing and putting records of my data on there super handy for a gamer like me that plays mmo and games that require building stats. 

 4. AHAHA this was extremely funny as I am typing this on may so honestly sadly no. Due to work being such a hassle past few months it was super hard to keep up. I mostly had one day to achieve and finish my work, I also used my couple of hours after work to finish but being so tired was extremely annoying since my brain wasn't fully working so most of the time I stayed after class working as that was my only day off to fully work on assignments even at this very moment typing this blog, i'm currently in class right now. Its really rough out here haha. But it was extremely fun doing phase 3 although it was very short I did that phase in the spam of 2 days. Imagine I had this amount of time today with the other days. *sigh*

the 2nd blog post

Hello world! Well the time has come for a part two blog. And by the time this is released, phase one of IS101 has ended. It has been such a run for IS101 a very interesting class indeed but from the beginning of class it was a hassle to do certain assignments but to the end of phase one it started to become very easy and straight forward. And now we are near our MO-110 exams for word a little nervous but i know it will be okay i studied very hard that I forgot certain assignments were due! So with the phase ending how will I do in the next phases to come? Well an all honesty its very rough when working a ten hour job while working overtime. It takes away all my energy as soon I get home I just go straight to sleep. For days I am off its really hard to push everything needing to do for one day. So with the next phase, I'm trying to do assignments after work and try to get things done little by little. As Life just keeps changing I must do anything I can to succeed in this class. 

We learned a lot from this class when it comes Microsoft word. I finally learn how to full customized documents to look professional! But not spacing or grammar stuff , but more decorative like these options can literally make it very professional yet fun for your document and these are called paragraph borders and shading its basically big boxes around the paragraph and shading is more like highlighting the entire paragraph it can be very well done and professional when you don't want an ugly plain black and white font. the amount of customization you have is very impressive! I'm more curious how professionals use them because judging from examples of paragraphs shading and borders from class they were so well done! Especially if you want to impress little kids in elementary school about animals and such it doesn't have to be a boring black and white font. So I thought that was so cool to learn about. 

So as MO-110 is upon us how will I be prepared for the exam? well on the week of the exam Everyday I go over the chapters labs over and over again then I do the word practice MO-110 labs over and over again till the day of the exam. I make sure I have every information I can get in my head and memorized. I am a visual learner but I'm also someone that take shortcut routes. For example I use certain words to hint certain topics that will be needed for a test. With these certain words its like a switch in my mind that say Hey this is for (topic) to make it easier and eliminate topics that aren't needed for the question. As I go more on these labs the more confident I get. And so far I feel very confident in the test. 

Well that's the 2nd blog post in all honesty this was late on my behalf I apologize as life just keeps getting wilder and wilder I always want to make sure I come prepared in case anything happens. If you are reading this always have backup plans for everything in life. Don't stay comfortable in life always challenge yourself. For me I need to practice not sleeping so much even though I work, I know I can do so much more. maybe its my blackout curtains that make me so sleepy. But chat be prepared for anything life isn't forever nor things, people or even your goals they can't stay forever. Sometimes life will change courses and you just got to be prepared for it or find ways to get to those goals or things you want in life. always be prepared or be ready for any roads obstacles that come to your life and i guaranteed you life can be so much easier when it comes to difficult times. 

Hello world!

This is my very first blog on this site and I'm super excited to learn and experience how to use this. First off, I am a student currently in college and practicing digital literacy to its full potential. As I am writing this, this is currently an assignment. It's honestly already fun to do! It isn't something that feels boring or something you want to get over with. No, I think it's cool to go to new sites I have never heard of and doing assignments that can be shared to the world and must be completed in different kinds of sites. I think that's pretty cool! It's such a good way test your skills. For me, I'm testing and regaining my grammars skills. Honestly, when typing things on the internet, you don't really have someone judging your grammar so why even bother, I mean acronyms exist LOL! The internet isn't judging your grammar so you start typing nonsense that sometimes you completely forget to actually type properly! That is currently me.

So what college class am I currently taking? The class I'm taking is called IS 101. It's basically digital literacy and a class that can teach you to use Windows software to their full potential. What Windows software you must be asking? Well glad you ask! Windows software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are the apps you'll will be learning to use to its full potential! And I got to say, I already learned a lot from this class. At first, I thought it will a simple class but I got to be honest, it's a hassle especially when you have a busy life. It's nothing crazy, it's more of keeping up with it. I mean isn't that how college is? Just keep up with your assignments? Yes and no, life doesn't stop so having to keep up with assignments while having other things existing in your life that must be done and it can be challenging. But you know what makes it all the stress go away? Having a Professor that actually cares. It's really astonishing how you can be behind or ahead and the professor will be there to guide you. Not only that even after classes, My Professor even sacrifice his hours to help us in our assignments. My impressions of this class isn't about IS 101, I think it's pretty simple but having a professor that actually cares of helping you succeed and sacrifice his hours to help you is something I don't see a lot now in days and that's what makes the class extremely fun.

I'm going to explain a lesson I learned in IS 101 which is Chapter 2.1.5 call Ports and Connecters. This was very crucial in my opinion especially when working with cables in Wi-Fi networking or someone that will connect the Wi-Fi into new homes. Knowing certain cable types, I think are something that must be known since we use these cables almost anything we own such as phones, portable computers, laptops, motherboards, and TVs. HDMI are use when connecting HD quality now in days like TVs , PCs. Older TVs use cables called RCA you know those yellow, red and white cables? Yes those! Theses cables are basically ancient now but you never know you might encounter one of these ancient technologies that need these RCA cables. Now you know what you are looking for and what they are called. For phones, certain companies such as Apple and Android use different types of cables. I always wonder why we have these types of cables which are called type A and C. And I ask myself why do we have so many different ones?

Now as of 2026 the year I'm currently typing this blog, now I know why we do! Majority technologies use type C then A why? Type C is actually the current cable used in today's technology. Think of it as a the better version of Type A. Type A is actually a old cable used before 2010, Its basically 1.0 of type C and Type C is the 2.0. We use Type A to this day because its cheaper and many people around the world still be using or wanting to connect their old devices with Type A cables. Don't you think its fascinating that even cables have history?

Now imagine we go to 2065 or more into the future and ask ourselves would we still be using these cables or newer ones and if so would they be hard to find!? I think it's cool that even technology can show their ages throughout time. I can already imagine how newer generations will be so curious in older technology we have and how it works or even surprised how its used!! I mean as someone that seen 1990's tech, it's insane how much has improved and the speed technology is now. I can't imagine how it will be like in 2065. So knowing cables are very crucial. Some devices can be exclusive to certain cables or knowing what type of cables throughout history can be handy in the future. Especially if one day the world stop using certain types of cables and stop producing these cables. Someday you might to find these yet don't know what they are called! But if you do know them it can be easier for you. Who knows what cables will be stop producing. As of now, time will tell so know your cables you use cause maybe someday we will stop using them in the future. And you might have to find these in thrift stores or something in the future.
